2013 County Season on Sky Sports

Sky Sports have announced their County cricket schedule for 2013. This campaign sees 60 live games from the Yorkshire Bank 40, LV= County Championship and Friends Life t20. They will also be at Essex when they host the England side in their Ashes warm-up match.

Each county will be shown at least three times this season.

The season begins live on April 25 with reigning champions Warwickshire travelling to Somerset in the County Championship. There will be another game shown on Sky Sports but has not been confirmed yet.

The Yorkshire Bank 40 competition begins with Essex facing current champions Hampshire on May 3. Sky will be showing 27 live matches, including 16 day/nighters, both semi-finals will be shown and the final, at Lord’s in September.

Hampshire are also champions of the Friends Life t20 competition and they will kick off proceedings against Surrey on June 26 at the Ageas (Rose) Bowl. There will be 31 live games shown including at least 13 day/nighters, all four quarter-finals and Finals Day at Edgbaston on August 17.

England will be playing a warm-up game against a County again this season- just like they did against Warwickshire in 2009- this time against Essex on June 30.

As well as County cricket, Sky will be showing:

Both Ashes series this year,

All England’s Investec Test Series,

NatWest Series ODI’s and NatWest International t20 matches against New Zealand and Australia,

The ICC Champions Trophy,

Three England Women’s t20 matches against Australia,

A great summer of cricket ahead; all on your tele-box.
