Characters of Cricket

My book, Characters of Cricket is out in a few weeks and is now available on Amazon for pre order. The book is a compendium of chapters on some of my favourite players over the years such as David Gower, Gladstone Small, Graeme Fowler, Matt Maynard, David Lloyd, Phil Tufnell, Michael Vaughan, Kevin Pietersen, Sachin Tendulkar, Shane Warne and many more. With a foreword by the Somerset CCC chairman, Andy Nash, there are also features on various XI's such as the Posh Blokes, Cricketers who have been to prison, Bearded sides as well as others featuring the crowds around the world, commentators and even the cricketing press....oh revenge is sweet! Once you have got your January pay cheque in, it is a great way to invest £7.99 especially as a portion of royalties go to Melanoma UK too.

Some of these lads haven't even made it to their county full sides yet, so as the missus said to me over Christmas, 'Please don't be premature". Still at least they weren't as premature as those Aussies letting off New Year's fireworks yesterday morning on our television sets! Here are the ones to watch in 2015...
