Tomorrow night Newport will see the biggest sporting event since the Ryder Cup and with four legends of Glamorgan cricket in attendance, Barack Obama's visit a couple of years ago to the Gwent city, will look like small fry compared to what we have going on!
Due to some last minute returns we still have about 15 or so tickets left. So if you and your mates from your cricket club want a great night out with an evening full of comedy, laughter and to hear some wonderful stories about the England careers of Matt Maynard and Robert Croft, along with the Glamorgan anecdotes from Mark Wallace and Mike Powell, then come down to Newport CC.
Tickets are just £15. There will be an auction with some amazing stuff donated by Nicky Wire from The Manic Street Preachers, signed cricket shirts and other collectors items, hosted by our special, surprise guest auctioneer who is a celebrity from the world of music. The bar will be open and food will be available.
All proceeds go to two wonderful charities associated with cricket in The Tom Maynard Trust and Melanoma UK, and trust me you will have a great laugh. No Glamorgan CCC or for that matter cricket fan, will want to miss it.
Call Gill Nuttall on 07530 986477 to reserve your ticket at this unique event. Doors at 7pm, show starts at 7.45pm.
